Sam and Kate

Phew.

Spring semester finally ended.  Twenty minutes later (no, really) we hopped in the car and drove 2100 miles across the country, sleeping in the car, and eating trail mix and jerky.  Sam started work the following Monday and I have been writing my thesis proposal and exploring the neighborhood.  

On our trip we passed through This is where Sam grew up, which is now a flower farm:
